The Chicago Children Equestrian Presents the 4th Annual Back to School Rodeo Showcase (Chicago, IL) — The Chicago Children Equestrian will partner with Harold’s Chicken Shack Corporate for their Annual Back to School Rodeo Showcase at Ho-Chunk Nation (10 Southland Dr. Lynwood, IL 60411) to share a part of Rodeo history that has been forgotten, and to showcase many of the talents that youth and adult participants have practiced throughout the 2023 summer at the Chicago Children Equestrian Center. Partners of this event hope to inspire and encourage other youth and adults to ride to provide another therapeutic outlet.
There is an admission cost for the Rodeo. At the Rodeo show, there will be free haircuts and free school supplies for students going back to school, food vendors, games, petting zoo, and much more.
Mission of the Chicago Children Equestrian Center
Chicago Children Equestrian Center aims to provide our children and young adults (especially those who are living in challenging environments) with equine experiences that helps to build them with the skills that are necessary for them to reach their full potential as members of our community. Through our programs, participants are given the tools and support necessary to make better choices during a critical period in their lives.
Our goal is to create program initiatives that support “at-risk” youths by creating positive structures in their lives that will ultimately help promote civic responsibility in the future. With encouraging lessons of self-love, good sportsmanship, personal accountability, and self-esteem, our organization believes that these are essential qualities for individuals to develop so that they may live productive, self-sufficient, happy, and fulfilling lives.
