Shots Fired Overnight at Orland Park Home (Orland Park, IL) — Orland Park Police this morning announced that a shooting occurred last night in the village. According to a statement released by the Orland Park Police Department, at approximately 10:41 p.m. on November 15th, 2023, the Orland Park Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the 17500 block of Coronado Dr. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an unknown vehicle approached a residence and fired multiple rounds from a handgun into the residence before fleeing the area. No one inside the residence was struck.

Subsequent investigation has revealed that this incident was not a random act as the residence was specifically targeted. The Orland Park Police Department will continue to investigate this incident.

This incident comes days after the Village of Orland Park, Village of Tinley Park, Orland Township, and the Office of Cook County Commissioner Sean Morrison announced a collaborative community safety forum to be held on December 12.
