Orland Park Police Release 2022 Annual Report (Orland Park, IL) – Each year, the Orland Park Police Department makes available an annual report highlighting the previous year’s data, accomplishments and important public safety information for all community stakeholders.
“We are proud of all that was accomplished by the men and women of the Orland Park Police Department in 2022,” said Orland Park Police Chief Eric Rossi. “Orland Park is known for its exemplary public safety record and we continued on this path through 2022 and are working toward the same for 2023.”

Within the pages of the newly released publication readers will find crime statistics, community involvement, events and other data that has been accumulated over the course of 2022 as well as prior years for comparison.
As property and violent crime continued to rise to record levels throughout the Chicagoland area, by contrast, crime in the Village of Orland Park remains low. 2022 had the third lowest number of index crimes in 25 years.
Violent crime remains low and well under the five-year average, with no homicide or rape incidents. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of each member of the Orland Park Police Department, their strong relationship with the private sector and commitment to working collaboratively in protecting persons and businesses against crime.
“We welcome the opportunity to share accurate data and statistics with the public to avoid false reports and hearsay,” said Rossi of the Annual Report. “This publication easily dispels any false information and provides complete and precise data to the public.”
