Bulls suffer close loss and their second loss of the season (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) — After the incredible comeback against the Celtics Monday, the Bulls were ready to bring the heat against the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center. The Bulls struggled to gain traction in the 1st quarter against the 76ers, hitting just 1 out of 7 shots taken outside the arc. The 76ers scored 29 points against the Bulls slow start, scoring just 19 points. In the 2nd quarter, Bulls player Zach LaVine tossed a behind the back bounce pass to DeMar DeRozan to slip past Furkan Korkmaz for a baseline slam dunk. The aggressiveness still wasn’t enough this quarter with the Bulls only scoring 25 points against the 76ers 29 points. By the end of the half, the Bulls trailed the 76ers with the score at 58 – 44.

At the Half

The Bulls tried to keep up their speed up but were struggling to make up the points they lost out on in the first half. Lonzo Ball managed to make a steal and hustle to the other end of the court to toss it up for Zach LaVine to dunk it, completely avoiding the 3 defenders in the middle of the court.  he Bulls only managed to make up 2 points, with the Bulls scoring 28 points against the 76ers 26. The Bulls were down 12 points going into the final quarter of the game. In the 4th quarter, the Bulls started to move and grove and slowly started to gain a little more control over the game. Near the middle of the 4th quarter, Ayo Dosunmu drained a 3-pointer to bring the game to 87 – 83 76ers, making the game a 2-shot game. In the end, the Bulls came up 5 points short against the 76ers with the final game score of 103 to 98.

Game Leaders were DeMar DeRozan with 37 points along with Nikola Vucevic handing out 6 assists. On the defensive side, DeMar DeRozan was able to snag 10 rebounds. Lonzo Ball was an aggressive player tonight, getting 3 steals, while Derrick Jones Jr. got 2 blocks. The Bulls made 46.3% of their collective shots along with making 28.6% of every 3-point shot.
