Bulls take down the last undefeated team in the NBA (Chicago, Illinois) – After taking the loss in a very close game against the Knicks, the Bulls were ready to face the Jazz at the United Center. Early in the game, Zach LaVine drove up the court to preform a spin move on Royce O’Neale for the 2. The Bulls and Jazz kept the game extremely competitive and at the end of the first quarter the Bulls held the Jazz to 24 points against the Bulls 25. The Bulls tried to keep up the momentum into the 2nd quarter. In the 2nd quarter DeMar DeRozan hit Jordan Clarkson with a behind the back dribble and snuck past him for an open pull up shot. The Jazz managed to score 33 points against the Bulls 29. Going into the half the Bulls trailed the Jazz 57 to 54.

At the Half

In the 3rd quarter, the Bulls turned up the defense with Tony Bradley getting a fierce block on Hassan Whiteside that was returned by Zach LaVine spinning through the Jazz defense for an inside layup. The Bulls were able to hold the Jazz to scoring just 15 points against the Bulls 25. The Bulls took the lead going into the final quarter with the score at 79-72. In the final quarter, Rudy Gobert attempted a dunk but the ball was swatted away by Derrick Jones Jr. and then driven up the court for a dunk. The 4th quarter was competitive, but the Jazz couldn’t make up the points they lost in the 3rd. The Bulls beat the undefeated Jazz 107-99.

Game leaders were DeMar DeRozan with 32 points along with Zach LaVine handing out 5 assists. On the Defensive side, Nikola Vucevic was able to snag 12 rebounds. Lonzo Ball was an aggressive player tonight with getting 4 steals while Derrick Jones Jr. showed some speed with 2 blocks. The Bulls made 42.9% of their collective shots along with making 80.0% of every 3-point shot.
