Bloom Township Center to Undergo Renovations (Chicago Heights, IL) — Bloom Township has announced that beginning April 3, 2023, Bloom Township will be undergoing major renovation to update their existing facility located at 425 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.
The various renovations include replacement of the building’s original HVAC system, removal of wallpaper, and remodeling of their existing transaction windows to create a more comfortable and ADA compliant counter space.
The contract for the renovations has been awarded to Lansing-based CMM Group, whose subcontractors include more than 40% Minority-owned businesses.
While renovations are being made, Bloom Township will take up residence at 712 Halsted St. in Chicago Heights. This location is south of the current, permanent building, located on the west side of Halsted St. All regular services and programs will continue at the temporary location without interruption.
