Trustee Andrew Holmes of Dolton Arrested by the Feds According to Reports (Dolton, IL) — UPDATED 8:50 PM: South Holland authorities have reported that Trustee Andrew Holmes of Dolton has not been arrested, nor is he in custody. Police Chief Shawn Staples did confirm that there was a police report filed on Wednesday that accuses Holmes of drugging and sexually assaulting a former Village of Dolton employee while they were on a work trip to Las Vegas. The statement says that she was out to dinner with Mayor Tiffany A. Henyard and Holmes when she became unwell, feeling disoriented. She later awoke in Homes’ hotel room. According to the report, the employee returned home and another individual, who was also on the trip with them, told her that Holmes was bragging about the incident. This individual told the accuser, who went to Henyard with a complaint. Mayor Tiffany Henyard purportedly punished, then subsequently fired the accuser in retaliation. The South Holland Police Department confirmed that they are working with the authorities in Nevada to investigate the sexual assault allegations.

Trustee Andrew Holmes reportedly turned himself in to federal authorities at the South Holland police station on an extradition warrant out of Las Vegas. There have been many conflicting reports circulating this morning. Several reports have come in that helicopters appearing to be federal authorities have been circulating Thornton Township all morning.
Andrew Holmes have been accused of raping a Dolton employee while on a Las Vegas trip with Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard and several Dolton employees. The complaint regarding the rape indicates that Tiffany Henyard may have attempted to cover up the rape. It is reported that Andrew Holmes bragged about raping the employee and that Mayor Tiffany Henyard fired the employee.
