The Collective PAC Endorses David Moore for Illinois Secretary of State (Chicago, IL) — He is among a slate of candidates running for statewide offices in races across six states.
The Collective PAC, the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government, is endorsing a slate of candidates running for statewide offices in California, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Tennessee. Receiving the coveted endorsement in Illinois are David Moore for secretary of state and Attorney General Kwame Raoul.
Alderman David Moore is running for Secretary of State in Illinois. Alderman Moore plans to use his knowledge of corporate experience and passion for progressive change to lead the communities of Illinois into a new era of economic growth and stronger community ties.
Founders of The Collective PAC, Quentin James and Stefanie Brown James, released the following statement:
“The Collective PAC is thrilled to endorse a slate of statewide candidates in California, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee. All of the candidates have answered the call to be agents of change using their voices as a sounding board for the unheard. We look forward to seeing these candidates enact change in their communities.”
Upon learning of the endorsement, Moore assured the PAC that he would live up to their belief in his leadership.
“I am honored that after an extensive endorsement process The Collective PAC chose to support my candidacy for secretary of state. I promise to work with statewide residents to ensure the office remains a constituent driven seat and not a political steppingstone,” said Moore.
About David Moore
Alderman Moore spent his childhood in the Robert Taylor Homes, before moving to the Englewood and Auburn-Gresham communities. Upon completing Simeon Vocational High School, he graduated from Western Illinois University with a dual major in accounting and operations management. He earned an MA with emphasis in government studies at Loyola University-Chicago.
Moore established a successful accounting career in the private sector at several Fortune 500 companies, as well as with Chicago’s Department of Aviation, Chicago Housing Authority and he served as an assistant to the commissioner of the Cook County Board of Review, coordinating the Faith-based and Community Initiatives.
