Joliet Junior College is Not Meeting Minority Participation Goals, Illinois House to Hold Subject Matter Hearing (Joliet, IL) — A Subject Matter Hearing has been called by the Illinois House to discuss the abysmal record that Illinois community colleges and universities have in meeting 30% minority participation goals. These public institutions are asked to meet these goals in an effort to increase minority participation in contracting, although most are reporting less than 5% minority spend.
