Job Fair to be Held by LifeHouse Group, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, and the Calumet Memorial Park District (Calumet City, IL) — LifeHouse Group, the Illinois Department of Economic Security, and the Calumet Memorial Park District are hosting a job fair that is free and open to all. More than thirty-five companies and employment organizations will be in attendance. Employers may conduct onsite interviews and make job offers on the spot.
Because a substantial number of government employers will be on site, this event will be especially valuable to anyone seeking employment with a local, state, or federal entity. In general, the presence of so many employers and employment organizations means this will be an incredible networking opportunity for everyone.
We encourage all interested job seekers to attend, including those individuals who may have faced barriers in the past due to criminal records or inconsistent job histories.

Location: Sandridge Community Center, 600 Oglesby, Calumet City, Illinois
Date and Time: April 12, 2024, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Employers in attendance include the following: UPS, Amazon, Brightstar Care, Marianos, National Tube Supply, FedEx Ground, Village of Hazel Crest, Illinois Tollway, Illinois Department of Childcare and Family Services, United States Department of Drug Enforcement, Harvey Police Department, Cook County, and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago.
LifeHouse Group, along with its non-profit affiliate, LifeHouse Recovery Organization, provides recovery services to adult men with substance use disorders. Our core services address all aspects of the recovery and reentry process by providing stable housing, job training and placement, education and life skills, and physical and mental wellness services.
