Haas Hosting Bill Roundtable to Hear Constituent Feedback on Legislation (Kankakee, IL) — State Representative Jackie Haas (R – Kankakee) has announced that she is hosting a roundtable forum with community members. She is inviting constituents invites constituents to participate  so they can have a discussion about ways they would like to improve the community and better the state of Illinois.

This is the third annual ‘New Bill Roundtable’ State Representative Haas has hosted. She says that these roundtable discussions will continue in the future. It is a way for Rep. Haas to connect with local constituents and listen to ideas on new legislation for the spring session.

“As an elected official, my job is to represent our community in Springfield but I can’t do that well without open and active communication within my district,” said Rep. Haas. “Residents in the 79th District have a voice that needs to be heard in the state legislature and this event is just one way I will facilitate that throughout this session.”

Representative Haas is looking forward to having productive discussions and hearing feedback.

The roundtable event will be held on January 17th will be on from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Rep. Haas’ District Office, 370 E Court St. in Kankakee.
