Haas Endorsed by First Responders (Kankakee, IL) — “I understand well the toll our first responders pay for the trauma they charge into on our behalf every day,” said Representative Jackie Haas in accepting the endorsement this week of public safety organizations representing law enforcement and firefighters.
“First responders deserve our support in their communities, our support in Springfield and Washington, and deserve to know we have their backs in improving public safety in Illinois,” said Haas.
The Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois (AFFI), Illinois Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), Sheriffs of Illinois PAC, and Troopers Lodge #41 joined together in endorsing Haas over her opponent, citing Haas’ proven record in support of protecting life and property.
“Residents who care about public safety will be well-served by re-electing State Representative Jackie Haas,” said Chuck Sullivan, Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois President. “Representative Haas has proven that she understands issues affecting firefighters and paramedics and advocates for them at every opportunity. We proudly endorse Jackie Haas for re-election to the 79th House District.”
