Dixmoor Water Main Repairs Underway (Dixmoor, IL) — The broken water mains in the Village of Dixmoor are expected to be repaired by this evening, according to Dixmoor Village President Fitzgerald Roberts.
There were five different water main breaks Monday in Dixmoor. The breaks are expected to be repaired this evening. Dixmoor schools will remain open and currently there are no boil water orders in the Village.
“I appreciate the help we are getting from Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle,” Roberts said. “The crews the County sent us have helped us get to a point where we can get these repairs done. I also thank Cook County Commissioner Deborah Sims, our Village Board, our staff, and our public works department of all of their hard work.”
