Dixmoor Mobile Home Park Has Water Shut Off (Dixmoor, IL) — Recent reports show that residents of Stonetown Western Crossing Mobile Home Park in Dixmoor, IL had their water shut off. The following is a statement by the Village of Dixmoor and Village President Fitzgerald Roberts:

“Dixmoor Village President Fitzgerald Roberts says mobile home park residents need to contact their landlords with any concerns about water shut offs as the Village does not send out individual water bills to mobile home parks.

“Residents at Stonetown Western Crossing LLC mobile home park have expressed some concerns about their water being shut off and there is information on social media directing residents to contact Village Hall. The Village, though, is not responsible for individual water bills and not the one shutting off water service to any mobile home residents.

“’We wish there was something we could do about this situation, but unfortunately there is nothing the Village is able to do to restore service or prevent water services from being shut off,’ Roberts said. ‘We send the property managers one bill for the entire park. The Village has nothing to do with individuals losing water service. We advise residents to contact the property managers at the park to get answers to their questions and hopefully to get their water service restored.’

“Roberts noted a Google search for a phone number for California-based Stonetown Western Crossing LLC did not yield any phone number for residents to call.”
