UPDATE:

The water main break on Paulina Street in Dixmoor has been repaired and there currently is no disruption in service according to Village President Fitzgerald Roberts.

The water main break was located at 14348 Paulina Street. The break triggered a second minor break which caused the repairs to take longer to be completed. A boil water order is still in effect from 141^st Street to 144^th Street from Woods Street to Marshfield Street.

“The water will be tested today and if the test results are good, we will lift the boil water order,” Roberts said. “For now, though, the boil water order remains in effect in the area affect by the break.”
