Bally’s Chicago Outpaces the Market for the Month of April (Chicago, IL) — Bally’s Chicago Casino outpaced the market for the month of April with gross gaming revenue of $12.2M. Additionally, admissions were strong, and rewards enrollment continued to increase during this period. Exciting new amenities are also on the horizon for Bally’s Chicago, such as valet parking operated by Bally’s staff starting this summer, expanded restaurant seating at Kitchen 888, and the upcoming introduction of a new VIP Lounge on the third floor of the Medinah Temple.

“We are thrilled to now have approval from the City of Chicago for valet parking – a convenience expected at downtown entertainment and dining locations – and look forward to operating and offering valet to guests starting in June,” said Mark Wong, Vice President and General Manager. “Likewise, to also enhance our guest experience, we’ve added great new menu items and expanded the seating at Kitchen 888, and we look forward to offering a new lounge area for our fast-growing VIP segment.”

Despite having one fewer weekend and a shorter month (30 days versus 31 days), April maintained strong admissions and the upward trend in enrollments that began in March, reaching new highs. The gross gaming revenue (GGR) for the month amounted to $12.2M, while the adjusted gaming revenue (AGR) stood at $10.3M.

“April was our second highest revenue per day and second highest admissions since opening, outpacing the Illinois market, including our major competitors who have more games,” Wong said. “We are pleased with the month’s performance and are confident in our trajectory going into the summer.”

Bally’s Chicago Casino is proud to also report the following April results and updates:

  • Admissions exceeded 112,000 visitors, the second highest month since opening and within 5 percent of March visitation despite fewer days and weekends.
  • Combined state and local tax allocations were nearly $2.4M.
  • More than 82,500 guests have now enrolled in Bally’s Chicago Rewards, with enrollment up 11.2% over the prior month.
  • Nearly 100 new slot themes were introduced on the casino floor.
  • The new VIP slots gaming offering launched to a positive reception from customers.

Also in April, the Bally’s Chicago team participated in a variety of community-based business development initiatives, including the Hospitality Hires Chicago job fair sponsored by the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, The Exchange networking event hosted by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the Chicago Business Opportunity Day offered by the Minority Supplier Development Council, and annual galas for the Chinese Mutual Aid Association and Refugee One.
