505 Days of Construction to Begin June 1st at 135th & Central Avenue in Crestwood (Crestwood, IL) — The village of Crestwood held its regular board meeting on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Among the topics discussed was the beginning of a construction project which has been in the works for quite some time.
The long-awaited construction in the area of 135th & Central Avenue in Crestwood is set to begin June 1st. As reported previously, there will be extensive construction in the area, including the removal of ditches, the installation of sewer water drains, the addition of a bike path, and improvements to school zone safety. Mayor Klein stated that the construction will take 505 days and that fines can come into play should the timeframe not be met.
