Ramaswamy Wins by Large Margin in Chicago GOP Debate Watch Party Straw Poll (Chicago, IL) — The Chicago Republican Party has announced that Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy won the first Republican National Committee debate by a large margin in a straw poll taken of Chicago’s Republican debate watchers at the party’s first debate watch party.

The poll, taken at the conclusion of the debate, allowed for viewers to select one candidate they believed to have made the best argument on the issues and their candidacy as GOP Presidential nominee. The results are as follows:

Governor Asa Hutchinson: 0%
Governor Doug Burgum: 2.5%
Governor Nikki Haley: 2.5%
Senator Tim Scott: 2.5%
Vice President Mike Pence: 10%
Vivek Ramaswamy: 57.5%
Governor Chris Christie: 2.5%
Governor Ron DeSantis: 22.5%

Last night’s watch party was the first of many events that the Chicago Republican Party is hosting this election season to bolster support for the Republican party in Chicago.

Chicago Republican Party Chairman Steve Boulton said, “It was a great turnout and an enthusiastic crowd, and a great debate. We will be hosting events for the debates to come. The Chicago GOP is looking forward to the coming election cycle, as we really see a change in the sentiment of Chicago’s voters. The citizens of Chicago and the nation are suffering and are fed up. We are anticipating an even better watch party for the next debate.”

The next GOP debate will be held on Wednesday, September 27. The Chicago Republican Party will host another watch party and conduct another straw poll.
