“I’m proud to be from the southside of Chicago; to have represented the southside of Chicago as a professional player in the NBA for 18 years. This camp gave a lot to the community and to Altgeld. It has proven to be a deterrent in keeping the kids away from gang banging, crime and drugs. Since the inception of the camp 20+ years ago, we have serviced over 15,000 kids. We couldn’t be prouder!”, NBA Great, NBA Hall of Fame Nominee & Chicago native Terry Cummings said.
