Italian-American Political Coalition Endorses Bob Fioretti For State’s Attorney (Cook County, IL) – Cook County State’s Attorney candidate Bob Fioretti proudly accepted the endorsement of the Italian-American Political Coalition on the eve of Chicago’s annual Columbus Day Parade.

Fioretti, a former Alderman of Chicago’s 2nd Ward which included the neighborhood known as “Little Italy,” said “The IAPC is one of the leading civic groups in the City of Chicago and Cook County. Their dedication to making our city and county a better place to live is second to none. I am grateful they see my candidacy as the best way to make our streets and neighborhoods a safe place to live, work, and do business.”

The son of an Italian immigrant father, Fioretti looks forward to the annual weekend long celebration of Italian culture every year.

“During the past two weeks, my campaign has been endorsed by the most diverse group of leaders in recent history, including civil rights icon Reverend Jesse Jackson, Jr., conservative Congressmen Darin LaHood and Mike Bost, former U.S. Senator Mark Kirk and now the IAPC, with more to come this week.,” Fioretti said. “Republicans, Indpendents, Fioretti Democrats, Black, White, Hispanic, Conservative, moderates and progressives are all coming together to put an end to coddling violent criminals. They want a State’s Attorney who will enforce the law as it is written, stand with law enforcement, not against them, and with victims, not ignore them.”
