Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Cruz for US Congress (Chicago, IL) — Today the Illinois FOP has endorsed Rob Cruz for Congress (IL 6th).

“I am proud and gratified to finally have this official endorsement of police officers,” said Cruz. “People always ask me how are things going to get better? its not safe where I live and its not safe where you live either. So how do we fix where we live?

“For a start, lets stop the talk of defunding police. If you want to defund anything, lets defund catch and release. The kids now know that theres no consequence to getting in trouble,” he declared.

The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), founded over 100 years ago in 1915, is the largest enforcement organization of sworn law enforcement officers in the United States. With a proud tradition of officers representing officers, the FOP is the most respected and most recognized police organization in the country. The Illinois FOP is the second largest State Lodge, proudly representing over 33,000 active duty and retired police officers – more than 10 percent of all FOP members nationwide.

”As I speak to more and more of you, my neighbors, my fellow Americans, I am increasingly convinced the the vast majority of us see most things the same way but are being corralled by media into a fringe way of living,” Cruz said.

Rob Cruz is a successful small businessman, from Oak Lawn, who is frustrated with the direction and overreach of current elected officials. Rob seeks office only to find better solutions for public safety, education, and support of small businesses.
