Disaster Recovery Centers will be Closed Tuesday, Jan. 9 Due to Winter Storm (Cook County, IL) — All FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers in Cook County will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 9 due to the winter storm. Weather permitting, normal hours resume Wednesday, Jan. 10. Cook County residents can still apply for FEMA assistance during the closures by:
- Visiting DisasterAssistance.gov
- Using the FEMA mobile app
- Calling the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362.
