Business Diversity Seminar Featuring Experts at Prairie State College on October 2 (Chicago Heights, IL) — “Navigating Procurement,” a free Business Diversity Seminar, will be hosted at the Prairie State College (PSC) Conference Center on Wednesday, October 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., located at 202 South Halsted St., Chicago Heights.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of obtaining certification with the State of Illinois, explore contract bid opportunities, understand the challenges of supplier diversity, and receive step-by-step guidance on completing Business Enterprise Program (BEP) certification applications. Breakout sessions will cover topics such as obtaining BEP certification, strategies to increase BEP spending, and tips for becoming a successful BEP vendor.
