Bulls Lose in OT to Raptors (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) – After 2 wins in Chicago, the Bulls traveled to Toronto to face the Raptors. The Bulls struggled to gain major traction in the 1st quarter, making inconsistent shots in the paint. The Bulls were able to hold the Raptors back by allowing just 1 out of 4 of their shots outside the arc, all while the Bulls scored 4 out of 9 three-pointers. By the half, the Bulls had scored 24 points while the Raptors scored 26. In the 2nd quarter, the Bulls kept their shots close, shooting only 4 shots from outside the 3-point line and sinking 2 of them. The Bulls kept most of their shots in the paint and were extremely consistent, but struggled to slow the Raptors near the rim. The Bulls, however, were successfully able to stop the Raptors from outside the arc, allowing them to make 3 out of 13 threes. The Bulls were able to keep up but still didn’t make any progress on the Raptors. The Bulls scored 26 points while the Raptors scored 28 points. By the half, the Bulls trailed the Raptors 54 – 50.

At the Half

In the 3rd quarter the Bulls really spread out their shots in an attempt to confuse the Raptors.  The Bulls were able to make 3 out of 8 shots outside the arc and only missed 2 shots in the paint. The Bulls were playing aggressively but still weren’t able to find enough traction to make a move on the Raptors. The Bulls scored 31 points while the Raptors scored 33 points. Going into the final quarter, the Bulls trailed the Raptors 87 – 81. In the 4th quarter, the Bulls found their traction and were able to dominate the rim. The Bulls made 3 out of 7 shots outside the arc and tons of shots in the paint. The Bulls were also able to slow down the Raptors all over the court. The Bulls scored 33 points while the Raptors scored 27, and the Bulls were able to tie up the game and send the game into overtime.

In overtime, the Bulls only were able to hold onto position of the ball enough for 8 shots and made 3 of them. The Raptors shot 6 shots and managed to make 4. The Raptors beat the Bulls in overtime 127 – 120.

Game Leaders

Game Leaders were Nikola Vucevic with 30 points along with Ayo Dosunmu, who handed out 8 assists. Javonte Green had 3 steals while Nikola Vucevic was able to snag 18 rebounds. The Bulls made 47.8% of their collective shots and 41.4% of every three-point shot.
