Bulls leave Miami with a Tough Loss (Miami, Florida) – The Bulls started off aggressively in the 1st quarter against the Heat, but struggled gaining speed at the rim by consistently failing to make the drive up the court. With the Bulls not gaining any momentum at the rim, they were forced to shoot 3-pointers, making 6 out of 12 shots taken outside the arc.  Lonzo Ball was dangerous, hitting 2 consecutive 3-pointers in a row. By the end of the 1st quarter the Bulls couldn’t keep up with the Heat, only scoring 25 points while the Heat scored 39 points. In the 2nd quarter, the Bulls found a rhythm at the rim by making all 5 shots. The Bulls didn’t slow down from range either, shooting 9 shots outside the arc and making 5 of them. The Bull just barely took the 2nd quarter, scoring 27 points while the Heat scored 26. The Bulls trailed the Heat 65 – 52 by the end of the 2nd quarter.

At the Half

The Bulls had seen their worst quarter yet, being unable to gain any traction on the Heat. However this quarter, the Heat were unable to make a major move on the Bulls. The Bulls had plenty of possessions and opportunities to score but were unable to find their groove.  The Bulls shot ten 3-pointers, making 3 of them. They did not make a single shot in the paint. The Heat also had their worst quarter of the game so far, making 21 points while the Bulls were able to score 18 points. In the 4th quarter, the Bulls struggled again to gain traction against the Heat, missing multiple shots at the rim and only making 3 out of nine 3–pointers. The Heat pulled ahead by scoring 32 points while the Bulls scored 22 points.  The Heat beat the Bulls with a score of 118 – 92.

Game Leaders were Zach LaVine with 33 points along with Alex Caruso, who handed out 5 assists. On the defensive side, Nikola Vucevic was able to snag 8 rebounds. Lonzo Ball also was able to secure 1 steal. The Bulls made 37.3% of their collective shots and 42.5% of every 3-point shot.
