Bulls Beat Magic at Home (Chicago, Illinois) — The Bulls were ready to face the Magic at home after just sending the Trail Blazers home with a loss. The Bulls started the 1st quarter with an elusive offense. The Bulls were about to shoot shots from all over the court however they struggled in the paint. The Bulls made 4 out of 8 shots in the paint and 5 out of 13 shots from outside the arc. The Bulls were able take a slight lead over the Magic by scoring 34 points while the Magic scored 33 points. In the 2nd quarter, the Magic found massive errors in the Bulls’ defense and were able to successfully make it to the rim. The Bulls were able to find traction in their offense and were very consistent all around the court. The Bulls made just 1 out of 5 three-pointers but were consistent everywhere else. The Bulls were uncontested every time they went up the rim in the 2nd quarter. They continued to extend their lead, scoring 36 points while the Magic scored 30. By the half the Magic trailed the Bulls 70 – 63.

At the Half

In the 3rd quarter, the Bulls showed great mid and short-range performance. The Bulls constantly found gaps in the Magic defense to the rim, and they took every advantage they could. The Bulls found some traction in their shots outside the arc, making 3 out of 6 three-pointers. By the end of the 3rd quarter, the Bulls still managed to make a move on the Magic by scoring 33 points while Magic scored 31. Going into the final quarter of the game, the Bulls had the lead up to 103 – 94. In the 4th quarter, both teams were extremely fatigued but kept pace with one another. The Bulls’ defense was giving the magic very good three-point opportunities and only let the Magic score 2 out of 9 shots from outside the arc. The Bulls made 2 out of 5 shots from the three-point line but seemed to struggle in the paint. The Bulls continued to edge out the Magic, scoring 23 points while holding the Magic to only score 21 points. The Bulls beat the Magic 126 – 115.

Game Leaders were DeMar DeRozan with 29 points along with Ayo Dosunmu, who handed out 9 assists. Javonte Green had 2 steals while Nikola Vucevic was able to snag 13 rebounds as well as 3 blocks. The Bulls made 51.1% of their collective shots and 36.7% of every 3-point shot.
