BREAKING: Rich Township High School and Colin Powell Middle School on Lockdown (Rich Township, IL) — UPDATE: The lockdown at Colin Powell Middle School has been lifted. All after school activities have been canceled.
Both campuses of Rich Township High School are currently on a soft lock down after the discovery of a social media threat. Colin Powell Middle School has been placed on lockdown as well. The high school campuses are located in Richton Park and Olympia Fields. The middle school is in Matteson.
Students are to remain in the building and no one is allowed in or out of the building.
