Bears End their Losing Streak (Chicago, IL) -The Chicago Bears defense started the game on a good note with Tashaun Gipson and Bilal Nichols sacking Russell Wilson for -7 yards early in the game. The drive by the Seahawks was short lived with having a total drive of -4 yards on the field. Nick Foles took the field to lead the bears a total of 8 yards before punting the football back in the hands of the Seahawks.  

The Seahawks took the opportunity to drive down the field with a 25-yard run and a 41-yard pass for the touchdown. The Bears trailed the Seahawks 7-0 by the end of the 1st quarter.  Early in the 2nd quarter, the Bears were given a bad punt by the Seahawks and a couple penalties that assisted them in getting to the 1-yard line and running the ball right up the middle for the touchdown. The Seahawks then took 5:28 minutes off the clock to drive up the field with 14 plays for the touchdown. The Bears offense struggled getting down the field, but the defense was able to hold the Seahawks to only a field goal. By the end of the 1st half, the Bears trailed the Seahawks 17-7.    

At the Half

The Bears’ defense was able to stop the Seahawks on their 1st drive and the Seahawks retaliated with the same result. The Bears were able to take up 5:27 with 12 plays for a touchdown to close in on the Seahawks. The Seahawks came back with the drive in half the number of plays as the Bears, and scored a touchdown. The Bears took an entire 7:40 in their next drive to end it with a field goal in the 4th quarter.

The Bears continued to trail the Seahawks 24 – 14 going into the final quarter. In the 4th quarter, the Bears scored a touchdown and went for the 2-point conversion which was a success. The Bears took their first lead in the last minute with the score at 25-24 Bears.  The Bears were able to stop the Seahawks and run the clock down to zero.  The Bears beat the Seahawks 25-24.
