Prairie State College to Host Open House on October 19 (Chicago Heights, IL) – Prairie State College (PSC) invites the community to its upcoming Open House on Saturday, October 19, from 10 a.m. to noon on the main campus, located at 202 South Halsted Street. This free event is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore the campus, meet faculty and staff, and discover all the college has to offer.
Enjoy giveaways, light refreshments, PSC swag, and a special appearance by Lady Red from Soul 106.3 radio, while exploring a variety of programs, including cyber security, early childhood education, dental assisting, physical therapist assisting, fire science, EMT, and auto technology, with training available for electric and hybrid vehicles.
PSC certificates can be earned in as little as six months, and associate degrees can be completed in under two years. Stop by and learn about financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and admission requirements, participate in virtual games, including an escape room and Prospector Solitaire, and participate in a hands-on DNA extraction activity led by the Biology Department.
