TR1 Respirators Donated to Palos Fire Protection District Honoring National Preparedness Month (Palos Park, IL) — The Palos Fire Protection District became the latest recipient of a donation of twenty-five TR1 Respirators/masks thanks to the generosity of EzCloud Solutions, a multi-faceted company located in Orland Park, Illinois.

The donation is estimated to be worth $5000 and was given to the district’s first responders in honor of National Preparedness Month, an observance during the month of September to raise awareness to the importance of preparing for emergencies and disasters that could strike at any time.

Michael Gabriele, Deputy Chief of the Palos Fire Protection District, announced the donation of the twenty-five TR1 Respirators/masks to the district and Emergency Management Services division during a ceremony Monday, September 26 at the Palos Fire Protection District Station #1 located at 8815 W. 123rd Street in Palos Park.

These respirators/masks are reusable and easily sanitized. The Electrostatic replaceable filter can last up to a full 2-weeks of use depending on the environment.  Each unit consists of a rugged nylon tactical carrying case with TR1 tactical respirator/mask, plus five electrostatic replacement filters. The masks will be provided to the fire district’s staff for use in the field.

“The TR1 respirator/mask is rated higher than the disposable N95 masks, with the ability to filter 99% of 0.1 micron particles or larger,” explained Victor Kress, President of EzCloud Solutions. “This translates into superior protection from COVID and any other harmful particulates that may be airborne for our first responders.”

“These TR1 Respirators are invaluable to the safety of our firefighters as they manage calls”, explained Gabriele. “The level of protection provided to each officer is unmatched without the use of far more complex and costly breathing apparatus. We are very thankful to have received this gracious donation from EzCloud Solutions.,” added Gabriele.

Kress further explained, “EzCloud’s mission is to keep individuals safe and breathing clean air. It was our pleasure to donate to the Palos Fire Protection District an O2 Tactical TR1 Respirator/Mask, containing our exclusive O2 replaceable filters.”

Kress also emphasized the importance such masks have on the jobs of first responders. “The TR1 Tactical Respirator/Mask helps first responders breathe cleaner and safer air in order to mitigate long term occupational risk. We encourage other communities to reach out to us. I would also like to note, that EzCloud also has a consumer model of O2 Respirator/Mask that utilizes the same exclusive filtration system as the TR1. Now everybody in every community has the opportunity to #BreatheEz – EzSanitize.Life.”
