The Bulls Give Chicago a Show (Chicago, Illinois) – The Hornets met the Bulls at the United Center tonight to an aggressive and well-fought game. The Bulls started the game at a high pace with spontaneous shots all over the court. Early in the game, Lonzo Ball caught his defender off guard and took an open shot at the corner of the arc for the 3. The Bulls kept up with the Hornets, scoring 30 points to the Hornets’ 31. In the 2nd quarter, the Bulls proved to be consistent on their outside shots, making 3 out of 6 of their 3-pointers. The real talent was at the rim though, with the Bulls not missing a single shot at the rim. Zach LaVine helped make a great play when he tossed up a ball to Javonte Green for the 1-handed slam dunk. The Bulls, with their dominance at the rim, made 39 points in the 2nd quarter while holding the Hornets to 27 points. By the half the Hornets trailed the Bulls 69 – 58.

At the Half

In the 3rd quarter, the Bulls had their best performance we had seen the whole night. The Bulls missed a total of 6 shots in the entire quarter. Even with a defender in his face, DeMar DeRozan was able to pump fake his defender and made a great fade away 2-pointer. The Bulls made 35 points while the Hornets made 27. Going into the final quarter, the Bulls had a heavy lead with the score at 104 – 84. In the 4th quarter, the Bulls were successful outside the arc, making 3 out of 6 3-pointers. In one instance, Lonzo ball was passed the ball in the corner and sniped the 3-pointer from range. The Bulls offense was now playing at an even pace and playing tactical with their passes. The Bulls scored 29 points while the Hornets were not able to cover the spread, only scoring 34. The Bulls beat the Hornets 133 – 119.

Game Leaders were Nikola Vucevic with 30 points along with Lonzo Ball, who handed out 8 assists. On the defensive side, Nikola Vucevic was also able to snag 14 rebounds. Javonte Green able to snag 1 steal, while Nikola Vucevic was able to get 2 blocks. The Bulls made 59.6% of their collective shots and 46.7% of every 3-point shot.
