South Suburban College to Continue On-Campus COVID-19 Testing through SHIELD Illinois in 2023 (South Holland, IL) — South Suburban College (SSC) will continue to provide COVID-19 testing services in South Holland through SHIELD Illinois in 2023. A fourth day has been added to the testing schedule when the college reopens from the holiday closure on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Testing services will be offered Mondays and Thursdays from 2 – 4 p.m., Tuesdays from 4 – 6 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

SHIELD provides results quickly and is accessible in the Mi-Jack Room on the first floor of the college’s Main Campus at 15800 South State Street, South Holland, Illinois. While no appointment is necessary, patients must create an account on Portal.shieldillinois.com using agency code df5brbrj to receive test results. Individuals who need a test may show up during testing hours or preschedule an appointment during the aforesaid timeframes. This service is available to SSC students, administrators, faculty, staff, and the community at large.
