Park Forest celebrates grand opening of new bar & grill
Park Forest celebrates grand opening of new bar & grill (Park Forest, IL) – The Village of Park Forest welcomed a new business into their downtown area today with a ribbon cutting celebration. The new business, K Spot Bar & Grill, boasts a full bar, televisions, high top tables, and a small menu of snacks and meals.
Owner Kevin Smith stated that the bar and grill is “kid friendly” until 8 pm, when it turns into a 21 and over only spot. He also stated that although he does not currently live in Park Forest or the south suburbs, he is looking to make the area his home.
In addition to a large number of area residents who came out to see the new K Spot, a number of village elected officials were present. Many village trustees, including Village President Jon Vanderbilt, came out for the momentous occasion. Members of the Southland Black Chamber of Commerce were also present for the celebration.
The K Spot Bar & Grill is located in the DownTown Park Forest. Their business hours are Monday thru Thursday, 3 pm – 12 am; Friday and Saturday, 2 pm – 2 am; and Sunday, 3 pm – 1 am.
