Old Dominion Freight Line hosts job fair for University Park service center Oct. 14 (University Park, IL) — Old Dominion Freight Line, one of the largest less-than-truckload carriers in North America, is hosting an in-person job fair at its service center located in University Park, Ill., to hire 10 full-time employees. The job openings are to accommodate business growth in the region. Management will host interviews and make hiring decisions onsite.
The job fair will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, from 8 a.m.–7 p.m. CT, at the service center, located at 1325 South Central Avenue, University Park, Ill., 60484.
The open positions include local and line haul drivers with $78,000 to $100,000 average annual pay. Old Dominion is also hiring team drivers with $202,000 average annual pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus available for select applicants. This is a great opportunity for those interested in a new career path as Old Dominion offers training programs for drivers. Old Dominion’s Driver Tuition Reimbursement program will reimburse up to $3,500 to qualified students from an approved truck driver training school.
