Nicola Vucevic has 43 and 19, gets Magic past Bulls (Orlando, FL) – Nicola Vucevic scored 43 points and grabbed 19 rebounds as the Magic beat the Bulls 123-119 Friday night in Orlando.

Orlando had four players scoring in the double figures tonight. Evan Fournier scored 20 points and rookie Cole Anthony added 17, including two key free throws with 16 seconds left to put Orlando up by four. James Ennis also contributed with 14 points in twenty-three minutes of action.

Magic Get Big Win

Orlando gets a much needed win after losing four straight, and three in a row at home. Chicago coming off a loss Wednesday night to the New York Knicks, continue to struggle in close games.

The Bulls were down by as many as fourteen points in the fourth quarter. However they fought to get back into the game.  Bulls guard Coby White hit a big three to tie the game at 112 with under two minutes to play. Vucevic scored a big basket in the paint on the next possession to give the Magic the lead again. This was followed by White finding a cutting Zach LaVine who was fouled by Vucevic going to the rim. LaVine would make both free throws to even the game at 114. Evan Fournier would knock down a step back jumper on the next play and the Magic would not relinquish the lead.

Chicago has 6 in double figures

Chicago also had a balanced scoring attack with six players in double figures, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 26, and Patrick Williams had 20. Coby White added 16 and Thaddeus Young scored 15 off the bench.
