Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Distributes Free Water Bottles to Dixmoor Residents (Dixmoor, IL) — The Metropolitan Water Reclamation Board of Greater Chicago today donated a pallet of bottled water to the Village of Dixmoor to be distributed to local residents, according to President Fitzgerald Roberts.

“I thank President Kari Steele, Thornton Township Tiffany Henyard and Cook County Commissioner Monica Gordon for taking time to visit Dixmoor and give water bottles to our residents,” Fitzgerald said. “These are tough times for a lot of people financially and every little bit we can do to help them matters. On behalf of the citizens of Dixmoor, we thank everyone involved for their generous gift to our community.”

Fitzgerald also noted there are no current water issues in Dixmoor. The water donation was a gift to the community.
