Illinois Senator Hastings Court Records Unsealed, Earnings Point To A False SEI Filing (Will County, IL) (via ECWd) — Illinois Senator Michael Hastings lost his battle to keep his court records sealed and it only took moments to reveal serious problems. Within those records is a document that reflects Hastings earned $108,901.00 in 2020 from Geld Solutions, LLC, a company for which he is listed as the Agent of Record and Manager. Hastings did not disclose these earnings on his 2020 or 2021 required Statement of Economic Interest Documents.

That failure is part of an OIG complaint filed against Hastings last week.

We understand over 1400 pages of records were unsealed today and we will be going through them and exposing more information on Senator Hastings who is embroiled in numerous legal battles as exposed in these articles.

Today’s discovery strengthens Governor Pritzker’s call for his resignation from the Senate in our opinion. We also believe this new information is worth the attention of the Illinois Attorney General for possible prosecution for the failure to file a true and accurate SEI. We hold little hope for that as we found Kwame Raoul was exposed for similar failings a few years ago as covered in articles here and here.
