Chicago Lodge 7 Fraternal Order of Police Endorse Rivera for CC Sheriff (Chicago, IL) — The Chicago FOP, Lodge 7, has endorsed Noland Rivera, the most highly trained and most qualified candidate for Sheriff of Cook County.

“I am proud and gratified to finally have this official endorsement of my fellow officers,” said Rivera. “I already have released my plan for changes and reforms to the Sheriff’s Department while meeting with leaders, candidates, officers and citizens of Cook County and feel confident that everyone is ready for a professional to now lead this important part of our criminal justice system,” he continued. ” I have also released my contributions to the City of Chicago’s plan for escalated summer violence, unfortunately, my suggestions have not been adopted and we are already experiencing unacceptable levels of aggression, scofflaw and even the brazen shooting of police officers,”, he said. “We need new, professional leadership right now,” he declared.
