On October 14, 2023, the Will County Sheriff’s Police responded to the residence of 16201 S Lincoln Highway in Plainfield after Hanan Shaheen called 911 indicating the defendant, Joseph Czuba was killing her baby with a knife. #hatecrime

Earlier this month, SVU Investigators posted an advertisement on a website known for hosting commercial sex-related ads. While posing as a 16-year-old individual, they were contacted by Gregory White, of the 300 block of Dee Road in North Aurora, who engaged in explicit  conversations via text messages over the course of several days. #felonies

Schiff, 50, of Riverwoods, Ill., pleaded guilty in 2023 to a federal bank fraud charge. In addition to the prison sentence, U.S. District Judge Mary M. Rowland on Jan. 16, 2025, ordered Schiff to pay $2,955,954 in restitution. #fraud
