Bartlett Man Charged with Possession of Child Pornography (Cook County, IL) – A 49-year-old Bartlett man has been charged with possession of child pornography after investigators found he viewed numerous pornographic images and videos of children under the age of 13 on multiple social media apps, Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart announced today. The Cook County Sheriff’s Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about underage pornographic images and videos found on a social media account linked to Eric Lund, of the 700 block of Thornbury Court in Bartlett.

Investigators obtained search warrants to seize his cell phone and additional electronic devices. A forensic examination of his phone was completed which revealed more than 45 sexually explicit images and videos of children as young as infants.

Since 2020, investigations by the ICAC Unit have led to charges against more than two dozen individuals, including Lund. On Tuesday, Oct. 11, Lund was taken into custody and charged with one count of possession of child pornography videos, a Class 2 felony, and one count of child pornography images of victims under the age of 13, a Class 3 felony.

Lund appeared today in the Rolling Meadows Courthouse where he was issued a $20,000 D- Bond. He was released after posting the required 10% of his bond.
